Q. What is a finder’s fee.
A finder’s fee is a fee paid to an intermediary of a business transaction. The fee is often offered because the business transaction would have not taken place if not for the introduction of a party offering a product or service and a second party using that product/service.
Q. Can I refer myself?
A . Yes, you can refer yourself.
Q. Should I refer a company that I have never had a previous interaction with?
A. Myfindersfee.com.au is a platform that promotes the practise of referring business; however, we recommend that you should contact businesses to discover more about them before referring them on to potential clients/customers. Doing a bit of research will increase the satisfaction for those potential customers and will therefore reflect better for you.
Q. I have used your website to refer friends to a variety of companies but have reservations about benefiting financially from friends and family?
A. Our Platform is designed to promote finder’s fee offerings. This practise is not as well known to non business entities and it is natural to feel uncomfortable with particular practises. If you are an individual referring a friend to a company listing with us and you are uncomfortable with receiving a fee we recommend that you share your fee with the person you are referring. That way all involved receive a financial benefit along with a great product or service that our listings offer.
